This certificate is aimed for security professionals with either five years full-time paid work experience or four years’ experience plus an information security university degree in two or more of the following 8 CISSP domains:

Asset Security
Communication and Network Security
Security Assessment and Testing
Security Operations
Identity and Access Management
Software Development Security
If you don’t have this experience, you can become an Associate of (ISC)² by passing the exam. You will then have 6 years to gain the experience required to become a CISSP.

It is also required that you purchase the Official ISC² Guide to the CISSP CBK, Fourth Edition by Adam Gordon as this will aid your studies
