Through the examination of key strategic concepts and contexts, you will be equipped to formulate strategies in a competitive global media environment and will gain a critical view of the major perspectives and theoretical approaches in strategic media management and strategy. During this Build your own MA (BYOMA) short course you will acquire an appreciation of the complexity of managing media organisations across different media and appreciate the utilisation of a range of macro and micro analytical frameworks to assist your analytical thinking.
Determining organisational purpose and future direction of a media business in an increasingly turbulent and uncertain environment is full of complexities. This short course seeks to explore these complexities.

Course details Integral to our courses is the belief that people improve their professional practice by taking time out to reflect on and reassess what they currently do in the workplace and by sharing their real-life experiences with the other like-minded professionals.
