Neuroscience is concerned with investigations of the central and peripheral nervous system. Our specialist degree prepares you for a rewarding research career in human neurosciences, investigating pathological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy.

Our degree is the ideal step towards postgraduate study, which includes taking a diploma, masters or PhD in a relevant science discipline. This can lead to a career in the NHS as a clinical physiologist, healthcare scientist, physiotherapist, nurse or medical doctor. Fast track training programmes are available for many NHS professions.
