This Build your own MA (BYOMA) short course will enable you to examine, evaluate and engage with processes of website creation from user analysis through design concept to completion. You will be encouraged to critique and reflect on current practice and to use individual and group methods to conceptualise and develop ideas. Furthermore, you will be engaged with production processes using both accepted and innovative methodologies and the knowledge you acquire can be applied to your own creative and/or professional practice.
During the 2-day creative retreat you will undertake a fictional website development working both individually and in teams. Discussion at each stage will be specific to the task but will also cover broader and alternative approaches sometimes beyond accepted practice. You will also be encouraged to discuss innovative approaches and technologies.
