This programme addresses a gap in the provision of professional accreditation of language related work, including oral interpretation and written translation, and the linked activities of language service management and bilingual professionalism. It is aimed at practicing linguists with experience across a range of sectors (commercial and public sector) who are holders of vocational qualifications and/or significant professional experience. It will provide an opportunity for you to undertake MA level study and professional development, while making use of your experience in a diverse and complex area of professional practice. It is currently the only professional practice degree in this area in the UK and will break new ground for the profession.
