About the SchoolThe Cancun Spanish Institute is a small, dynamic school with a casual atmosphere. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, friendly, and personalized service and instruction to our students. Francisco Romero, from Mexicali, Mexico, and Lynda Wilson, from Minneapolis, Minnesota are co-directors of the school. They are available to assist you prior to your trip and throughout your stay in Cancun with any questions you may have about the school, Cancun, and housing arrangements. We are located in a spacious building in the heart of downtown Cancun (el centro) near downtown's main shopping, nightlife, and restaurant district - just a short walk from the bus line that runs between the hotel zone and downtown Cancun. And we are located just minutes by bus or taxi from Cancun's hotel zone and beautiful beaches.School LocationWe have three indoor classrooms for small-group classes, plus two tutorial areas. We are the only school in the area with air-conditioned classrooms! The school is decorated in colonial Mexican style, and a spacious lounge area and a small outdoor patio provide a break area for students during breaks and before and after classes.
