Design Futures - Intensive Master Class

How do you become an architect of better futures? First, you must understand the nature of change. Second, you must envision alternatives. Third, you must bridge the experiential gulf between the present and your preferred possibilities.

The Design Futures Intensive, created and led by pioneering experiential futurists Stuart Candy and Jake Dunagan, is an introductory course for those new to the intersection of design and foresight, and interested to combine the two in making positive change. Over three days of intensive (it’s called that for a reason!) activity, you will add to your toolkit for foresight and experiential futures, via a mix of short lectures and innovative, hands-on experiences. You will learn powerful new concepts and have a chance to connect them to practical outcomes –– to improve your personal life, your organization, and your community.

The Master Classes are aimed at both experts that want to raise their game and beginners that are looking for a more appealing road into the field of innovation. Our students come from a variety of backgrounds: design, engineering, entrepreneurship, corporate business, advertising and marketing, education, arts, the public sector, non-governmental organizations and more.

As with all our Innovation Programs, the Master Classes are accessible for people with a busy schedule. They consist of one or two sessions taking place over the weekend, from Friday to Sunday. Most importantly, they are taught by global experts in each of these fields – making each of them a unique opportunity to situate oneself at the forefront of international developments in the world of innovation.
